Civil Rights laws enacted in the '60s said blacks and whites had equal rights, and blacks could attend the same schools and eat in the same restaurants as whites. And, blacks did not have to ride in the back of the bus, they could ride in any seat. Discrimination based on race was outlawed. This we now argues that discrimination against people with mental illness or intellectual disabilities is just as bad as discrimination based on race. When a person or business provides special rights and treatment for racial reasons or retaliate against clients who spoke up on abuses, the racial equality and equal rights achieved in the '60s has been taken away. It's a contradiction of the progress we as a nation has made over the last 200 years! I'm for equal rights. No one should say we reserve the right to refuse anyone access to Adult Daycare just because they spoken up about abuses like Assaults, Sexual Harassment, or Verbal abuse. Yelling at a client and telling State Regulatory Officials you didn't tell at client is lying. Saying that a male client just "looked like" he punched a female client in the face is lying. We seen it happen. Saying you don't call clients in the office and ridicule them and tell and emasculate them and belittle them, your are lying.
Disabled adults are adults and should not be laughed at to belittle them or emasculated or yelled at or refused service because they spoke up when abuse happens.
If you think your job is to abuse and intimidate and lie to stop state investigations then your in the wrong business and your making money by destroying the lives of disabled people.
It's time for the Owners of La Estrella Adult Daycare Center in San Antonio Texas to contact me to engage in dialogue about this issues. It time for Chuck Ramon to speak to us about the petition and resolve this petition once and for all. We are not going away tell you do
Remember, your employees are engaging in illegal behaviour and will continue doing it.
The more people get hurt in the daycare center the more will be added to the petition. Your reputation is at stake.
Your employees did threaten legal action.
Do you want those clients testimonials made before a judge? Do you want all the abused clients and former employees that walked off the job because of abuse to speak to a judge about how you harmed them and the clients.
You don't have a defamation suit when all these people will come forward and testify under oath what happened to them that will fall in line to this petition. Please contact us and talk. We will make the public aware if you refuse.
