A true story of abuse and neglect at La Estrella Adult Daycare, South Flores.

At La Estrella Adult Daycare all the other clients watched as a two disabled clients was called out of cafeteria  during lunch and told to leave the daycare and never return. Milk cartons was taken away, and their food was dumped in the trash. "One client, a female did not protest, other than to walk away hungry while crying tears."

That is a day in the life at La Estrella Adult Daycare, South Flores. All the clients know from experience that the employees and management staff will retaliate against them if they ever cross them the wrong way. So they worry about being discharged from the daycare. Being discharged is deterrent to keep clients from coming forward with allegations see of clients abuse.

   Fear and intimidation by staff members

Fear and intimidation is the norm at La Estrella Adult Daycare. A day don't pass that there not a form of clients abuse occurring. By my opinion, clients are abused in some way or fashion about 90% of the time when those clients within the building. Sometimes it's subtle other times it's outrageous.

I personally seen clients being treated differently because the color of their skin, appearance or ethnicity. Those of African American heritage are constantly harrass and humiliated the director of the Adult Daycare called them by the following names, "Afro American", "Colored", or "Negros."
It is 2017, at least by now she should know the proper lingo when speaking to Black people (African Americans) to avoid any conflict or disrespect. She did not care about what she said.


Yelling at clients like a bunch of prison inmates


The director of the day care, at times wi yell at clients when the state come to investigate there. This is known as intimidation. If you don't cooperate and conceal allegations and witness sightings a client abuse you be subject to verbal abuse. In addition to verbal abuse you could be subject to discharge or suspension. Don't worry about if you done anything wrong they'll set you up or lie about you! If you want to hear a woman screaming angrily at disabled and developmentally challenged clients that's the director of La Estrella Adult Daycare. Cross the director and feel her scorn in wrath. She will gather clients and a families with similar biases to lie every it against you as well. She has various ways of retaliating and making erroneous allegations against witness's a client abuse to destroy a reputations, and credibility.

      Self-blame and suicidal former clients

When a client is wrongfully discharged from an adult day care many things happen psychologically with the client. It's not as easy as it seems. Some people say just go to another daycare. But wounds are deep. No client ever forgets how he was wrongfully discharged from Adult Day Care. They miss the friends that they knew for years attending that one daycare. Most of them are separated from these longtime friends that they develop lifelong relationships with. These individuals we never see each other ever again. A large majority of the time, these clients fall into a state of depression and sometimes become suicidal. One thing I do know for certain most of the clients they were discharged either passed away or developed long term psychological problems because of the treatment at La Estrella Adult Daycare.

When I refer to LA Estrella Adult Daycare, South Flores and a house of horrors I am speaking about the treatment of the clients. A disabled client should never be subjected to yelling or intimidation or neglect. I'll disabled and mentally ill clients and developmentally challenged clients need our protection. To be honest with you later most precious commodity that we have. There will be behavior problems. But if you tell the truth from resolve the problems the I come we always be positive. But if you lie, intimidate and fabricate stories to retaliate against clients then you doing the clients a great disservice. Taking care of disabled people it's more than just bringing home paycheck. Some people taking this precious commodity which is all disabled community and just turn them into Cattle.

They get off from the pain and suffering of others.
They receive almost sexual gratification from it. I actually seen employees smile when a client is discharged. I also seen a past directors call the police on the client with bogus allegations and threaten sue client. Remember, if your goal is to disenfranchise your clients or incarcerate them and the legal justice system then you're in the wrong business.
